Cartool 3.6 is a professional automotive ECU repair software used by technicians and electronic repair specialists to process ECU dump files, repair airbag crash data, disable immobilizers, and calculate security PIN codes. The software is widely used in workshops that work with airbag modules, immobilizer systems, and vehicle electronics.

Cartool 3.6 processes BIN dump files extracted from ECUs and control modules, allowing technicians to repair damaged data, remove crash information from airbag modules, and prepare immobilizer dumps for ECU replacement or synchronization.

The software includes a large internal database with more than 3500 algorithms for different vehicle electronics modules. These algorithms allow automatic processing of dumps from airbag modules, ECU units, immobilizer systems, and other electronic control units.

Unlike diagnostic scanners, Cartool 3.6 works directly with memory dump files. Technicians first read the ECU or module memory using an external EEPROM or flash programmer, then load the BIN file into the software for processing.
